Hallucinations of Perception: Mindful Awareness in Times of Chaos

Please join Lakeside Behavioral Health System, Inc. and Christie Bates, LPC/MHSP, BC-TMH on Friday, January 8th from 12:00 p.m. -1:00 p.m. CST for a special virtual continuing education workshop on Mindful Awareness.

Christie is the Owner, Therapist and Spiritual Director of Passati Counseling & Direction, the Co-Founder, Teacher and Podcaster of Deep South Dharma. Christie also has extensive clinical experience in a multitude of treatment settings and has worked with veterans, those struggling with trauma/violence, the aging population and with other contemplative interventions.

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Learn how to identify four basic human misperceptions that create unnecessary/optional suffering
  • Learn how to identify particular misperception(s) that cause trouble for a client or oneself in any given moment
  • Be able to explain how an increase in mindfulness intervenes on the link between misperception/suffering

This workshop is FREE and offers (1) CE compliments of Lakeside.
