Partial Hospitalization

Lakeside Behavioral Health System offers partial hospitalization services to adults, children and adolescents who are experiencing psychiatric and substance abuse problems. Partial hospitalization, also referred to as day treatment, is beneficial for patients who are in need of treatment and intervention that is more intensive than traditional outpatient but less restrictive than inpatient hospitalization. The program is offered seven days a week and patients are able to attend during the day and return home in the evening.

Psychological Trauma Treatment is available for patients in Partial Hospitalization. This unique, specialized program utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as the therapeutic process for helping patients identify and deal with issues related to post-­ traumatic stress disorder, panic disorder, grief and loss, and trauma related to physical, sexual and emotional abuse.

Partial Hospitalization offers a full range of services, including:

  • Academics provided to children & adolescents
  • Comprehensive Psychosocial Assessment
  • Family Intensive/Workshop
  • Family Therapy
  • Free Aftercare group once per week, up to six months
  • Group Therapy
  • Medication Management
  • Psychiatric Assessment and Treatment
  • Psycho-educational Therapy
  • Psychological Trauma Therapy
  • Recreation Therapy
  • Treatment team consisting of Psychiatrist, Nurse, Therapist and Activity Therapist
  • Weekly Multifamily Group Therapy

Partial Hospitalization services are available for:

  • Chemical Dependency and Substance Abuse

  • Adults age 18 & above
  • Adolescents age 12 to 18
